PCN secures 1.7m coal supply contract from PLN

PT Prolindo Cipta Nusantara (PCN), a member of Lestari Cipta Persada (LCP) Group of Companies, has secured 1.7 million tons per year coal supply contract from state owned electricity firm PT Perusahaan Lisrtrik Negara (PLN) (Persero) and its subsidiary PT PLN Batubara.

"We have secured 1.7 million tons per annum contract to supply coal for PLN and PT PLN Batubara," Henry Soetio, President Director of LCP, said to Petromindo.com recently.

LCP owns two coal concessions in South Kalimantan namely PCN and PT Astri Mining Resources. PCN, located in Tanah Bumbu regency, will supply all the coal to PLN and PLN Batubara.

PCN has 4,200 Kcal/kg GAR with low 0.5 percent sulphur content. It has 25 million tons of estimated total coal reserve.
