PCN to commence production in June

Indonesia emerging coal producer company, PT Prolindo Cipta Nusantara (PCN) is expecting to commence its maiden production from its coal concession in Tanah Bumbu region, South Kalimantan in June, 2013.
Rudy Hartanto, CEO of PCN told Petromindo.com that the company is expecting to produce 150,000 ton in its first month.
"In the second month, we are targeting to have about 300,000 per month and we expect to produce up to 2 million ton in our first year," Rudy said on the sidelines the 11th Coaltrans China conference in Beijing, recently.
Rudy revealed that currently the company is waiting for the forestry use permit which is expected to be issued in May.
"As soon as we obtain the permit we will start the overburden removal," he said adding that the coal that will be produced has a calorific value of 3800 NAR. The company has a total 350 hectares of concession in Tanah Bumbu.
