PCN to produce 270,000 tons of coal per month

Coal mining company PT Prolindo Cipta Nusantara (PCN) aims to maintain production rate of 270,000 tons per month in the second quarter of 2015 from its concession in Tanah Bumbu Regency, South Kalimantan.

Marketing Director Andi Ananda Manggabarani, told Petromindo.com on Monday that this is a realistic target as the coal market is still in a bearish mode.

?In the first quarter, PCN?s output rate was also 270,000 tons per month, and we?ll stick with this target in the second quarter,? he said, adding that 75 percent of the production were exported to India. ?So in the second quarter about 75 percent of our output will also be destined for India and the rest are allocated for the domestic market,? he said.
