PCN to supply 500,000t per month of coal started in September

PT Prolindo Cipta Nusantara (PCN), a member of Lestari Cipta Persada (LCP) Group of Companies, plans to supply PT PLN Batubara, a coal subsidiary of state-owned power firm PT PLN, with around 500,000 tons per month of coal this year.

Henry Soetio, President Director of LCP told Petromindo.com that the supply is planned to be started in September 2016.

?We expect to start the supply of as much as 500,000 tons monthly in September this year and the contract for this cooperation is expected to be signed in August,? Henry said.

Henry added that the coal will be taken from PCN?s concession in Sebamban district, Tanah Bumbu regency, South Kalimantan province.

Henry revealed that in the current first semester of 2016 the company focuses on exporting coal to India and China. ?But in September we?ll be increasing our production and will allocate all the output to domestic market,? he said.
