A rig belonging to PT Pertamina Drilling Service Indonesia (PDSI) is now being moved to Kedung Keris field in Cepu block, East Java to perform well testing , according to a top official of PT Pertamina EP Cepu (PEPC).

?We hope the rig will be there this March,? PEPC?s President Director Amril Thaib Mandailing told Petromindo.com.

"The PDSI rig has just finished drilling in Well Pad C in Banyu Urip field,? he added.

The Kedung Keris oil field is part of the Cepu block, located at the borders of Central Java and East Java. The block is operated by ExxonMobil Cepu Ltd (EMCL), a unit of ExxonMobil Oil Indonesia, with a 45 percent participating interest. PEPC holds another 45 percent.
