Pearl Oil to drill Trilobi-1 well this week

Pearl Oil (Tachlyte) Ltd. is scheduled to drill the Trilobi-1 well within the Kerapu block in Riau Island this week, according to official at the upstream oil and gas authority SKK Migas.

"The well will be drilled with Randolvyost jack up rig," Head of Survey and Drilling Division at SKK Migas Arief Fanzuri told Petromindo.com Monday.

The Kerapu block is located in the South China Selatan close to Natuna Island with an area of 5,640 km sq. The total investment commitment of Pearl Oil (Tachylyte) Ltd. is US$29 million for initial three-year exploration period. The company holds a 100% working interest in the block.
