Pearl to commence Makassar Strait drilling late this year

Singapore-based E&P firm Pearl Energy Limited is scheduled to commence exploration well drilling in Sebuku PSC in Makassar Strait 4th quarter of 2005.
The company said in its rig procurement pre-qualification announcement lodged in Jakarta newspaper Monday that the company is committed to drill at least 3 exploration wells in the block.
Pearl has 100 percent working interest in the block. (alex)
