PEFINDO: Angkasa Pura II’s maturing bond rated “idAAA”

(April 23, 2021)--PEFINDO has affimed its “idAAA” rating for PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero) (APIA)’s Bond I Year 2016 Series A of IDR1.0 trillion that will mature on June 30, 2021. The Company plans to repay its maturing bond using internal cash. As of September 30, 2020, APIA had cash and cash equivalent of IDR3.1 trillion.
A debt security rated idAAA has the highest rating assigned by PEFINDO. The obligor’s capacity to meet its long-term financial commitments on the debt security, relative to other Indonesian obligors, is superior.
As a state-owned enterprise (SOE) engaged in airport and airport-related services, APIA operates 19 airports, including the Soekarno- Hatta International Airport in Tangerang (Banten), the country’s largest airport and main gateway, Kualanamu International Airport in North Sumatra, and recently, it also operates Radin Inten II Airport in Lampung, H.A.S Hanandjoeddin Airport in Belitung, and Fatmawati Airport in Bengkulu. As of September 30, 2020, APIA was 100% owned by the Government of Indonesia. (ends)
