PEFINDO has affirmed its idAAA rating for Perusahaan Perseroan (Persero) PT Perusahan Listrik Negara

(December 4, 2023)--PEFINDO has affirmed its idAAA rating for Perusahaan Perseroan (Persero) PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PPLN)’s Shelf Registered Bond III Phase III Year 2019 Series B of IDR1,212 billion and its idAAA(sy) rating for PPLN’s Shelf-Registered Sukuk Ijarah III Phase III Year 2019 Series B of IDR263 billion, both due on February 19, 2024.
The Company plans to use its internal fund to repay the maturing bond and sukuk. As of September 30, 2023, PPLN had cash and cash equivalent of IDR37.6 trillion.
PPLN is a wholly owned state company engaged in the generation, transmission, and distribution of electricity throughout the country. It is the only integrated electricity producer in Indonesia, with an installed capacity of 46,262 megawatts (MW) (including rental) as of March 31, 2023. (ends)
