The Pelikan and Naga gas projects in Anoa field within Natuna Sea Block A are expected to be completed in the third quarter and fourth quarter of 2014, respectively, later than the initial schedules, according to an official of upstream authority SKK Migas.
?The Pelikan project is now scheduled to start production in the third quarter of this year, a (long) delay from the earlier schedule of fourth quarter of 2013. Meanwhile, the Naga project is projected to be onstream in the fourth quarter of 2014, compared to the earlier schedule of the second quarter of 2013,? Division Head for Inspection of Realization of Field Development Plan at SKK Migas Nugrahani told Petromindo.com recently.
She said the postponement has occurred due to delay in procurement of materials and fabrication and offshore installation in the field.
?The EPCI (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Installation) works of the two projects have been 89.63 percent completed per February, 2013,? she added.
Pelikan and Naga projects are part of Natuna Sea Block A which is owned by Premier Oil (operator), Kufpec, Petronas, and Pertamina-PTTEP.
