PEP begins drilling of Tapen B2 well

Upstream company PT Pertamina EP (PEP), a subsidiary of state-owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamin, has started drilling the Tapen B2 well in Cepu block located in Senori District, Tubang Regency, East Java Province, Antara reported Monday.
The news agency quoted Yuwarifay Fauzy, an official at PEP Drilling Department as saying that the drilling program will require about 35 days to complete with a depth target of 2,042 meters.
?The Tapen B2 well has huge oil and gas potential,? added Manager of Cepu Field, Heru Irianto.
The drilling program is targeted to produce 250 bpd of oil, and 0.5 mmscfd of gas. (*)
