PEP books encouraging results from Jati Asri-1 well

PT Pertamina EP (PEP) recorded that the third drill stem test at the Jati Asri-1 well in the Melandong block, in Subang, West Java, has flowed in 941 barrels of oil and 2.2 mmscfd of gas.
The figure are higher than the DST-2 earlier in December, which resulted in 50 barrels of oil and 0.2 mmscfd of gas, said VP for Exploration Nanang S.Manaf to Petromindo.com.
The company has said that it plans to spud in the Jati Ibon well in the Melandong block early next year, using 1,500 HP drill from PT Pertamina Drilling Service.
