PEP Cepu prepares actions to improve performance

President Director of PT Pertamina EP Cepu (PEP Cepu), Amril Thaib Mandailing said that his company is taking a number of strategic actions to help improve its performance including by becoming the operator of the Alas Dara Kemuning (ADK) field in the Cepu block, Central Java.

He said that the process to transfer the field from Cepu working area to become ADK working area is currently still in progress.

Amril said that the company is also aiming to become the operator of the Kedung Keris field under a dual operator scheme. The target for this project is to accelerate development of the oil field and achieve production level of 20,000 bopd.

The company is also making efforts to accelerate the development of the Alas Tua West and Alas Tua East fields by taking advantage of the Jambaran-Tiung Biru gas plant facility; and to accelerate exploration drilling at the Giyanti, Pilang, and Kalisari structures.
