PEP completes drilling of NR-47 well in Limau field

Upstream company PT Pertamina EP (PEP) had on June 10 completed drilling of the NR-47 well at the Limau field, in Muara Enim Regency, South Sumatra, reaching a final depth of 1,752 meters in the Talang Akar Formation.

Limau field Manager, Abdul Muhar said on Tuesday that drill stem test resulted in oil output of 312 bopd.

He said that this is the first well drilled by the company out of plans to drill a total of three wells in the Limau field this year. ?In September, we?ll drill the second well, NR-53, while the third well, LB-11 will be spudded in November 2017,? he said.
