PT Pertamina E&P (PEP), a subsidiary of state oil and gas company PT Pertamina, said it has completed the drilling of TGP-1 and CKR-1 gas wells in Region West Java.
Agus Amperianto, Manager Public Relation of PEP told Petromindo.com that the TGP-1 well has the capacity to produce 1.5-2 million standard cubic feet (mmscfd) of gas. The gas from the well will be allocated to a West Java provincial government owned company (BUMD).
The legal aspect of gas sales agreement is being drafted, Agus said.
In addition, PEP also completed the drilling of CKR-1 gas well in the area with estimated gas production of 1-1.5 mmscfd. The gas will be converted into gas fuel (BBG).
?PEP still needs to carry out service work on the well,? he said.
Agus expects the contract supply term of the two wells will last for about 10 to 15 years, with estimated gas price of US$5-6 per mmbtu.
