PEP completes production test at LSE 1055 well in Sangasanga field

PT Pertamina EP (PEP) said that production test at Louise (LSE) 1055 well within the Sangasanga field in Kutai Kartanegara Regency, East Kalimantan, was successfully completed on April 19 with a fantastic production rate surpassing 8,280 bopd, open-flow.
The company said that the production rate made the LSE 1055 as the well with the largest production in the history of the company.
Pertamina EP Development Director Satoto Agustonu said in the statement Sunday that the LSE 1055 was a development well which was drilled and completed in only 40 days. The next stage is for the company to drill another 10 wells to develop the deep zone reservoir target, he added.
The additional production from LSE 1055 well has increased Pertamina EP?s total oil production to 119,000 bopd. Output from the Sangasanga field will be processed at Pertamina?s Balikpapan refinery unit.
