PEP: Drilling of Albatros Putih-1 well hampered by bad weather

PT Pertamina EP (PEP) said that planned drilling of the Albatros Putih-1 (ABP-1) exploration well in Cepu field in Tuban, East Java, has been hampered by bad weather condition.

General Manager of Pertamina Asset IV Field Cepu, Agus Amperianto, told Petromindo.com on Thursday that the spud-in of the ABP-1 well was scheduled for the third week of December.

?Drilling of the ABP-1 exploration well is currently at preparation for rig up. It was scheduled for spud-in in the third week of December, but was hampered by weather (condition) due to frequent rain in the location,? Agus said, but did not provide further details about the drilling program.

The drilling program, with a planned total depth of about 2,500 meters, will use rig owned by PDSI.
