PEP drlling one well Pendopo field

PT Pertamina EP (PEP) announced on Tuesday it had started drilling the SPA-DZI/38 well in Pendopo field in South Sumatra on Jan. 14.
The well, located in Sopa village, Semangus district, Muara Lakitan regency, is the 38th well drilled in the Sopa structure, which is one of the oil producers in Pendopo field.
The drilling is the first to be conducted by PEP?s Asset 2 this year. The latest drilling in the Sopa structure was carried out in 2007. The firm plans to drill three wells in the structure this year.
The well is drilled using the PDSI D1000 rig with a depth target of 2,770 mMD/2,308.11 mTVD (TD) directionally. Target production from the well is 300 barrels of oil per day.
