PEP encounters dry hole at Mandevila-1 well

PT Pertamina EP (PEP), subsidiary of state owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina, has encountered dry hole in the recent drilling of the Mandevilla-1 well in Musi Block, Rejang Lebong, Bengkulu Province.

PEP Exploration & New Discovery Project Director, Doddy Priambodo told Petromindo.com Tuesday that the firm could only obtain small volume of gas from the well. ?It?s not commercial, so we left the Mandevilla-1 well,? he said.

PEP began the drilling program in September.
