PEP finds gas in Matindok

PT Pertamina EP (PEP) announced on Tuesday the discovery of gas at the MTD-6 well in Matindok field, Central Sulawesi.

On the 32/64 inch choke, the MTD-6 well flows 10.30 mmscfd of gas, 165.6 bpd of condensate on 32/64-inch choke, at 2200 psig WHP, 4000 ppm H2S and 3% CO2. Meanwhile, the well flow 20.23 mmscfd of gas and 197.5 bpd of condensate on the 56/64 inch choke, at1300 psig WHP, 4000 ppm H2S and 3% CO2.

The gas was discovered at the Manihaki limestone layer in the Manihaki Formation Carbonate at the depth of 2142-2167 mMD

The well was spudded on May 7, 2014 as part or the Pertamina EP commitment to supply 55 mmscfd (35 mmscfd to DS-LNG project and 20 mmscfd to PLN) from Matindok field.
