PEP KTI seeks production boost from Bunyu

PT Pertamina EP?s (PEP) Eastern Indonesia Region (KTI) plans to increase gas production from its Bunyu field in East Kalimantan by the end of the year to anticipate the rising demand in Tarakan area.
?We are trying to increase production rate at Bunyu by refurbishment in facilities, including installing additional pipelines. We try to increase production from 4.5 mmscfd to 6 mmscfd,? KTI General Manager Satoto Agustono told petromindo.com.
In addition, he added, KTI plans also to drill 2 wells at the Bunyu field until early next year. In September, KTI saw additional output of 1,500 bopd from the new BN#30 well in the Bunyu field.
