PT Pertamina EP (PEP), a subsidiary of state-owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina, has set a target for its Matindok Central Processing Plant (CPP) in Banggai Regency, Central Sulawesi, to be completed in March 2017.
"EPC progress of the Matindok production facility has reached 95.05 percent, and has entered the preparation process of the pre-commissioning stage," PEP?s Public Relations Manager, Muhammad Baron told Petromindo.com, adding that the CPP is targeted to be completed at the end of March 2017.
Upstream authority SKK Migas said earlier that production at the Matindok field had been delayed to 2017. Production at the Matindok field has been delayed due to problems among members of the consortium assigned to develop the production facility, thus affecting the construction progress, and also due to lingering uncertainty over buyers of the gas output, Deputy for Operation Control at SKK Migas Muliawan said. Matindok field is expected to produce 65 mmscfd of gas and 500 bpd of oil.
