PEP moves forward drilling schedule for Jati Ibon-1 well

PT Pertamina EP (PEP) said it has decided to move forward the schedule for spudding the Jati Ibon-1 well in Melandong block, West Java, from the initial plan of January 2014 to December 2013.
?God Willing, tomorrow or the next day, the Jati Ibon-1 well will be spudded,? said Vice President for Exploration, Nanang S. Manaf to Petromindo.com Thursday.
?We?re preparing the location, and the rig will come from Bambu Merah-1,? he said. ?Hopefully, it can be followed with the spud in of Akasia Bagus-2 and Pondok Mulia-1 wells, also in West Java, early next year,? he added.
