PEP raises Paku Gajah field?s oil and gas output

The PT Petamina EP, a subsidiary of state owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina, has managed to increase the condensate and gas production of the Paku Gajah field project in South Sumatra from Prabumenang (PMN)-09 development well.

PEP?s Public Relation Manager Muhammad Baron said recently the PMN-09 well, which was located in Prabumenang village, Muara Enim regency, was drilled using N80-B1/27 owned by PT Pertamina Drilling Services Indonesia (PDSI) for 35 days since Nov. 6, 2014.

It now produces 4.2 mmscfd of gas and 153 barrels of condensate per day (bcpd), which is channeled to Pagardewa oil pooling station.

Thanks to the adtional output, the Paku Gajah project has increased to 41 mmscfd and 806 bcpd.

Following the successful drilling of PMN-09 well, PEP will continue with the drilling of another development well, called Pagardewa (PDW)-7.
