PEP reports higher oil output at Platform XRay

PT Pertamina EP (PEP), an upstream subsidiary of state-owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina, reported on Monday higher oil production at the offshore Platform XRay in Jatibarang field, Indramayu Regency, West Java Province, following well intervention at XA-09 well.
PEP said in a statement that prior to the well intervention, production at the XA-9 well stood at 87 bopd on February 3, 2017.
Following well intervention through remedial actions by applying electronic submersible pump, production has increased to and stabilized at 2,011 bopd since March 22, and further increased to 2,532 bopd as per March 27, the company said.
