Upstream company PT Pertamina EP (PEP), a subsidiary of state-owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina, said that as of end of August 2017, oil production stood at 77,975 bpd, while gas production at 998 mmscfd.
Public Relations Manager at PEP, Muhammad Baron said in a statement on Tuesday that the production was lower compared to 85,114 bpd and 989 mmscfd at the end of August 2016.
He said that the lower output performance was related to the lingering weak oil and gas industry environment. No further details were provided.
