PEP?s EOR program produces 2,200 bopd

Production from a number of fields where PT Pertamina EP (PEP) has been applying the Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) technology has reached 2,200 barrels per day of oil, according to an official of PEP.

"The production of 2,200 bopd comes from the Rantau field in Aceh, the Talang Jimar and Tanjung fields in South Sumatra," PEP's Development Director Satoto Agustono told Petromindo.com.

He said that most of the production comes from Rantau at an amount of 1800 bopd and the rest from the other fields.

?Thanks to this EOR program, the fields will produce an incremental oil of 3,260 barrels which will peak in third quarter of this year,? he said.
