PEP?s Pondok Makmur field has started production

The Pondok Makmur (PDM) field in the Tambun block, in Bekasi, West Java, operated by PT Pertamina EP (PEP), a subsidiary of state owned oil and gas company PT Pertamina (Persero), has already been onstream since May 16, 2016, according to upstream authority SKK Migas.

?The production facility in Pondok Makmur field started operation in May 16, 2016,with a production capacity of 4,000 bpd of oil and 42 mmscfd of gas,? Taslim Z. Yunus, SKK Migas' Head of Program and Reporting, who is also acting spokesman of the agency, told Petromindo.com.

PEP said earlier that the field is planned to produce 2,500 bpd of crude oil and 20 mmscfd of gas. The contractor of EPC works at the field is a consortium of PT Raga Perkasa Ekaguna which was kicked off in June 2013.
