PT Pertamina EP (PEP), an upstream subsidiary of state owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina, said drilling results of Haur Gede-1 (HGD-1) well in Jatibarang Field, Indramayu, and the Pondok Makmur Indah-1 (PIN-1) well in Tambun field, Bekasi, both in West Java Province, indicate the presence of hydrocarbon prospects.

?There are two wells which indicate hydrocarbon in West Java, namely in Haur Gede-2 and Pondok Makmur Indah-1, but they are still being tested more deeply,? Nanang Abdul Manaf, President Director of Pertamina EP said to Petromindo.com on Tuesday.

Drilling of the two wells start in March of this year. He did not provide further details.
