PEP seeks new oil, gas prospects in Aceh

Upstream company PT Pertamina EP (PEP) is intensifying efforts to find new oil and gas prospects in Aceh amid improving security condition in the province.
PEP President Director Nanang Abdul Manaf told Petromindo.com on Tuesday that its exploration team is currently conducting study in the northern part of Sumatra basin from Sabang in Aceh to Berandan in North Sumatra Province.
He said that the study conducted by the exploration team hopefully would lead to 2D and 3D seismic activities next year.
