PT Pertamina EP (PEP) is seeking partners that could help increase the production of its oil fields via the enhanced oil recovery (EOR) method.
PEP Vice President for Planning and Risk Management, Meidawati told Petromindo.com Tuesday that the company is offering a joint operation scheme with potential partners to develop 10 oil fields that include Tanjung Tiga Barat, Limau Tengah, Niru, Molek, Andan, Ukui, Ramba, Gunung Kemala (all located in Sumatra), Semanggi (in Java), and Bungalun-Kariorang (in Kalimantan).
Meidawati said that PEP is about to hold talks with five companies which have expressed interest to participate in the proposed join operation scheme. The firms include Daqing, Geominergy, Petrofac, Schlumberger and Tribindo.
?Our team will discuss the proposals of the would-be partners. The main point is that the performance of the partners must be better than PEP,? she said.
