PEP spuds two new wells in South Sumatra

PT Pertamina EP (PEP), a subsidiary of state owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina, announced on Monday it has started drilling two new exploration wells, called Ogan A11/39 and PMB P14/30 in Prabumulih field, South Sumatra.

The wells are called Ogan A11/39, located in Tanjung Bulan village, Rambang Kuang district, Ogan Ilir regency; and PMB P14/30 in Anak Petai sub-district, Prabumulih Utara district, Prabumulih city.

The firm held a gathering with the local governmental and community leaders on Sept. 24 and 25 as part of socialization program.
