PEP strikes gas in Azalea well

State oil and gas company PT Pertamina EP (PEP) said that it had found gas in Azalea well, Jambi, after its drill steam test-3 (DST-3) indicates gas at 2 MMSCFD.
PEP has planned 6 more DSTs in Azalea well to confirm the gas reserve. "After the DST-3 indicated gas find at 2 MMSCFD in Azalea we plan 6 more DSTs there,? PEP Exploration Vice President Nanang S.Manaf told Petromindo.com in Jakarta on Wednesday.
According to Nanang, PEP started the drilling in Azalea in March 2013. His company expects to get the results of the 6 more DSTs by the end of this month (July 2013).
