PT Pertamina EP, an upstream subsidiary of state-owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina, said that gas production at the Subang field in West Java last year reached 230.5 mmscfd, exceeding the 227.91 mmscfd target.
Antara quoted Subang field Manager Armand Mel Hukom as saying on Thursday that oil production at the field last year reached 1,182 bopd, or 90.8 percent of the full-year target of 1,302 bopd.
Armand said that the production performance was a result of various activities including asset optimization, work over and well services, and drilling programs.
He pointed out that one of the programs was workover of the Jati Asri 03 (JAS-03) well in Bojontengah Village, Pusakaya District, Subang Regency. JAS 03 well managed to enter production stage on December 29 with oil production rate of 486 bopd, or 162 percent of the 300 bopd target. Gas production at the field reached 2.84 mmscfd.
?Workover at JAS-03 well with a depth of 3,274 meters started on December 11, 2016 using RIG PDSI LTO-750,? Armand said. (*)
