PEP teams up with Rekind in Donggi

PT Pertamina EP (PEP) and partners will start the construction of production facilities as part of the Donggi field gas development project, in the fourth quarter of 2014, to be developed by state constructor PT Rekayasa Industri (Rekind).

Under the cooperation agreement between PEP and Rekind signed last week, the construction for the facilities with the capacity of 50 mmscfd is scheduled to take about 26 months.

The deal was inked by Rekind Director Muhammad Ali Suharsono and PEP President Director Syamsu Alam.

Production from the facilities will be supplied to an LNG plant being developed by PT Donggi Senoro LNG (DSLNG), a joint venture between Mitsubishi Corporation (51 percent), Pertamina Energy Services Pte Ltd (29 percent) and Medco E&P, a subsidiary PT Medco LNG Indonesia, (20 percent).
