PEP to drill Ogan well in South Sumatra

PT Pertamina EP (PEP) plans to drill the Ogan A8/38 exploration well in the Ogan field, South Sumatra.
The well is the 12th well that PEP?s Asset 2 will have drilled this year and it will be the 38th oil and gas well in Ogan field, which is part of Prabumulih Field working area. The well will be spudded in early August with the driling estimated to take around 60 days, PEP said in a statement obtained on Tuesday.
To kick off the drilling, PEP?s Asset 2 held a gathering on Thursday where the firm distributed free food for the residents of Tanjung Bulan village, located close to the drilling site
