PEP to get more production from Sangasanga

PT Pertamina EP (PEP) looks set to increase production from its Sangasanga Tarakan in East Kalimantan as a production testing at NKL-1041 well has resulted in oil flow of 1,041 bpd.
General Manager of Pertamina EP?s business unit UBEP Sangasanga Tarakan Herutama Trikoranto revealed the successful drilling results in a statement.
Last year, the field produced around 8,600 bopd and the company expects output to reach 15,000 bopd by 2016.
This year, UBEP Sangasanga Tarakan, which directly operates the field, plans to drill 16 more wells and to reopen 60 old wells in Lousiem Nonny and Samoja areas.
