PEP President Director, Nanang Abdul Manaf said in a statement on Thursday that the CTDP will increase the gas supply to 14 mmscfd from the current 6.4 mmscfd.
?This is in line with the policy of the Pertamina management to accelerate the monetization of exploration finds at the Tegal Pacing structure,? Nanang said in the statement.
Gas from CTDP is processed at the Pondok Makmur Block Station, which has production capacity of 42 mmscfd of gas and around 4,000 barrels of liquid per day. The gas is then supplied to domestic consumers including power producer PT Pembangkitan Jawa Bali Muara Tawar at a volume of 20 mmscfd as fuel for power plant, and to PT Pertamina Gas (3.5 mmscfd) to be converted into LPG.
Indra Priyatna, General Manager of CTDP, said that the Cikarang-Tegal Pacing field development can reach gas production rate of up to 14 mmscfd with a production period (plateau) of seven years. Total reserves are expected to be enough for production until PEP?s contract expires in 2035.
?The production target of 14 mmcfd is projected to come from six wells. Thank God, current production from two wells, namely TGP-03 and TGP-05, can reach up 6.4 mmscfd,? Indra said.
