PEP to solely manage Poleng field after 2013

PT Pertamina EP (PEP) will operate on its own the Poleng field in East Java after the current agreement with Kodeco Energy, under the technical assistance contract (TAC) scheme, expires next year.
President Director Syamsu Alam told petromindo.com that Pertamina is very unlikely to extend the agreement.
?TAC Poleng will expire in December 2013, and PEP will manage the field thereafter on our own.?
At present, the field is producing over 3,000 bopd. TAC is one of cooperation forms that Pertamina has developed besides the joint operating body (JOB) scheme.
