PEP to spud Kawista-1 in mid August

PT Pertamina EP (PEP) said it plans to spud Kawista-1 well within the Klamono block in Sorong, Papua in mid August.
?Kawista-1 well in Papua has not been spudded yet, as the company is still mobilizing the rig. The spud is estimated to be carried out in mid August,? said PEP President Director, Syamsu Alam, to Petromindo.com on Monday.
?The spud will be implemented after all equipment and rig are 100 percent in place,? added Exploration & New Discovery Project Director, Doddy Priambodo.
