PEP to spud Mandevila-1 well late August

PT Pertamina EP (PEP) plans to spud the Mandevila-1 well in Musi block, Rejang Lebong Regeny, Bengkulu, at the end of August of this year.

?(We) plan to spud Mandevila-1 well in Musi block on August 28,? Vice President for Exploration at PEP, Nanang S. Manaf told Petromindo.com Monday.

Nanang said that the exploration at Musi block is an extension of the previous exploration work at the East Musi block located in the border of Linggau, South Sumatra.

?Once the exploration at Mandevila-1 is successful, we?ll continue exploration in the Rejang Lebong area, Bengkulu,? he said.
