PEP to spud Tapah-1 well

PT Pertamina EP, an upstream unit of state owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina, will spud Tapah-1 well in its Sangatta field, East Kalimantan, on July 5, about a week later than the initial schedule.
The drilling was originally scheduled for June 28 but has to be delayed as the rig preparation takes longer than anticipated.
?The Tapah-1 well in Sangatta is already 98 percent rigged up. We expect the drilling to take place on July 5,? Nanang S. Manaf, Production Vice President, told petromindo.com.
