PEP to spud three exploration wells

PT Pertamina EP, an upstream subsidiary of state-owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina, is expected to soon spud three exploration wells including the West Gantar-1 (WGT-1) and Haur Gede-1 (HGD-1) wells in Jatibarang Field, Indramayu, West Java Province, and the Pondok Makmur Indah-1 (PIN-1) well in Tambun field, Bekasi, West Java.

This was said by Shinta Damayanti, Head of Geology and Geophysics Unit at the upstream oil and gas authority SKK Migas on Tuesday. She, however, did not provide further details about the planned drilling programs.

She said that SKK Migas at the end of last month visited a number of drilling locations including those of PEP in West Java to help ensure data are obtained properly for the purpose future evaluation of regional and local geological condition.
