PEPC ADK to drill NGU-1X exploration well

PT Pertamina EP Cepu ADK (PEPC ADK), which operates the Alas Dara Kemuning (ADK) block in Blora Regency, Central Java, plans to drill the NGU-1X exploration well in April of this year.
?The exploration drilling of NGU-IX well is aimed at proving hydrocarbon presence in the Tawun and Tuban formations,? a company official who requested for anonymity said, adding that the vertical drilling will use rig owned by PT PDSI with capacity of 1,000 HP, and will target a total depth of 2,000 meters.
The official said that PEPC ADK is currently repairing access road to facilitate the mobilization of equipment to the drilling site.
