PT Pertamina EP Cepu ADK (PEPC ADK), a subsidiary of state owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina (Persero), has completed drilling of four re-entry wells in the Alas Dara Kemuning (ADK) block, located in Blora, Central Java, according to an official of the firm.

?Currently PEPC ADK is conducting technical evaluation before continuing with drilling program for the fifth re-entry exploration well,? Public & Government Affairs and Formalities Head at PEPC ADK Gayatri told Petromindo.com.

According to the firm, the term ?re-entry? is used because the wells had been previously drilled by TAC Humpuss and the wellheads are still there.

The ADK block was previously part of the Cepu block. In the 1990s, the Cepu block was under control of TAC Humpus. The block is now controlled by ExxonMobil and Pertamina.

The ADK block is projected to come onstream in 2016. The block is estimated to hold 12.5 MMBO of crude and 25 BSCF of gas resources.
