Perdana Bara Perkasa to start coal production end of 2010

Coal mining firm PT Perdana Bara Persada (PBP), a unit of Sumatra pulp and paper firm PT Riau Andalan Pulp and Papers (RAPP) will start production from its East Kalimantan mine late this year.

PBP Commissioner Handoko Taslim told Petromindo.Com that the company?s mine is expected to produce coal with CV of around 7,000 kcal/kg (ADB) with volume of 100,000 tonnes per month in the first year.

PBP has two mining concessions (KP) in Nunukan regency. (denny)
