Perdana Karya plans to boost coal production

JSX-listed contractor and coal miner PT.Perdana Karya Perkasa Tbk plans to expand its coal mining production from mere 300,000 tonnes per annum currently to 3.8 million in 2011 through series of expansion.
The company, which has just listed its shares on Wednesday, revealed in a document filed with the JSX that it planned to expand production through acquisition of several small mines in East Kalimantan.
Currently, the company?s coal production comes Teluk Dalam mine in Samarinda, with mining area of just 100 hectares.(alex)
