Permata sending maiden output to China from Batuah

IDX-listed coal mining company PT Permata Prima Sakti (PPS) through its affiliate PT Batuah Energy Prima (BEP) has shipped the maiden production from its concession in Batuah, Sanga-Sanga, East Kalimantan.
"We just sent one vessel to China," Aris Munandar, PPS?s Vice President Director, told Petromindo.com.
He said production at the concession started in August 2013, without specifying the volume of the shipment to China.
BEP is expecting to produce about 500,000 tons from this concession throughout the year. It expects to boost the production to 3 million tons next year before reaching the full capacity of 5 million tons by 2016.
