Pertagas appoints GMF to maintain its gas turbines

PT Pertamina Gas (Pertagas), a subsidiary of oil and gas company PT Pertamina, has appointed PT Garuda Maintenance Facility (GMF) Aero Asia to maintain its gas turbine compressor and gas turbine genset facilities.

The decision was made at end February, Pertagas President Director Gunung Sardjono Hadi told Petromindo.com.

The GMF will maintain Pertagas' gas turbine compressors, rotating equipments, gas pipeline and other facilities for a period of six months.

He said the maintenance work may be extended and upgraded to a longer-term maintenance contract. Hadi however declined to disclose the costs of the maintenance work before the evaluation of the six-months work.
