Pertagas, E1 tender EPC for S. Sumatra LPG project

PT.Pertagas, a gas distribution subsidiary of state oil, gas firm PT.Pertamina Tbk. said it was tendering EPC contract to build an LPG plant in South Sumatra, which it would build in JV with South Korean firm E1 Corp.

President Director Suharyanto told reporters that included in the tender participants are state engineering firm PT. Rekayasa Industri and engineering management and EPC company Tripatra.

Pertagas would have 56 percent stake in the project that would extract LPG from 250MMCFD of gas, while E1 would have 34 percent stake. The remaining balance would be held by South Sumatra provincial government.

He said the project would become onstream in 2011.(godang)
